Promising Seaweeds against Human Viruses: A Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
Seaweeds due to their immense applications in food, agriculture, cosmetics, textile, biomedical and pharmaceutical sector have become inordinate candidates for research. Over the past few decades, research has been focused on algae-driven metabolites such as carrageenan, galactan, laminarin, fucoidan, lectins, phenols alginate diverse applications. Marine algae are constantly being researched activity against various human pathogens establish a permanent alternate therapy with antiviral implications main area of focus. In this review, attempts made systematize anti-viral seaweed-derived compounds mechanism action viruses which would help develop natural drugs life-threatening viruses.

Verdinexor Targeting of CRM1 is a Promising Therapeutic Approach against RSV and Influenza Viruses
Two primary causes of respiratory tract infections are respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and influenza viruses, both of which remain major public health concerns. There are a limited number of antiviral drugs available for the treatment of RSV and influenza, each having limited effectiveness and each driving selective pressure for the emergence of drug-resistant viruses. Novel broad-spectrum an...

Gastrointestinal cancer has been one of the five most commonly diagnosed and leading causes of cancer mortality over the past few decades. Great progress in traditional therapies has been made, which prolonged survival in patients with early cancer, yet tumor relapse and drug resistance still occurred, which is explained by the cancer stem cell (CSC) theory. Oncolytic virotherapy has attracted ...

Molecular Identification of Pre-Existing Immunityin Human against H9N2 Influenza Viruses Using HLA-A*0201 Binding Peptides
Background and Aims: The contribution genetic and antigenic diversity of H9N2 influenza viruses in evading from immune responses, cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) epitopes in hemagglutinin (HA) protein restricted by HLA binding peptides was identified. Materials and Methods: Phylogenetic analyses were carried out for all of full length HA and deduced amino acid sequences of H9N2 viruses available ...
